Location of Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi
The all suites Resort (villas only) located at the hear of the Maldives Just 30 minutes from MalĂ© International Airport by yacht. Thanks to this fantastic location, you don’t need to book expensive seaplane and its good news for those who don’t like the small hydroplanes too. 30 minutes by Waldorf Astoria’s comfortable and luxurious private yacht is a very convenient transfer at the Maldives. The Hilton chosen the location really well for the property. There is no nearby resorts in sight distance, however it close enough (25 km) to the international airport.

About the Villas
The Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi spans three private islands connected to each other by overwater villas. Altogether 122 villas will be available for the guests and the specialty that each equipped with a private pool not to mention about the uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. There are 4 main types of accommodation available at Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi:

- Independent Villas
The “smallest” King beach villa with pool offer 234 m² / 2,518 ft² of space for 2 adults and 2 children. As the all other villa in the resort, this one is offers a magnificent view to the ocean across the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors too. In the bedroom you will find the king-sized signature Waldorf Astoria bed, seating area 65-inch TV and sound system. The bathroom offers an oversized bathtub and you will find a huge walk-in wardrobe separately for woman and man. Outside you can enjoy the terrace with pool, hammock, dining pavilion and sun loungers and of course your little private beach. And yes, this is the smallest villa on the island with a huge private pool and plenty of space for a tranquil relaxation.
You can book two independent villa at Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi as well. These are very special duplex villas with 2 pools, BBQ station, huge indoor and outdoor space. You need a (complementary of course) boat transfer to access the independent villas, because these are standing in the water completely separated from the other villas. Thanks to this separation, you have 360 degree of direct access to the crystal clear ocean. You will have 536 m² / 5,767 ft² of space which is pretty enough for 3 adults. - Ithaafushi Private Island
